Happy Birthday Dear Harry

My husband Harry just celebrated his 62nd birthday.  Wow that seems like such
a big number.  Last year he had some skin cancer issues on his nose.  It turned
out to be pretty intense for him.  So to lighten things up for his birthday I
decided he needed a nose on his cake.  How in the world could I do this?  It
turned out to be quite simple and fun.  Hope you enjoy your cake honey.
I made your fav.  Chocolate cake with a white buttercream frosting.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANE

You picked a very cold day to play golf.  Eat lots of cake to stay warm.  Make A Wish!

PAR TEE FOR SHANE

YUMMY CUPCAKES FOR THE KIDS

Shane is my niece Melette's husband.  He loves all of my cakes.  He is so good for my ego.
Today it's his turn to have his own special cake.  Melette is planning a surprize golf outing
for him.  So she called and asked me to make my almond chocolate cake that he loves.
And of course she wanted a golf theme.
Children will  also be there so she needed some cupcakes too.
Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!  Almond buttercream frosting on top.
So this is my design for Shane and the kidlets.   Hope you guys enjoyed it and Shane
you picked a very cold day in January to play golf!

Flowers For Liz

My daughters girlfriend Liz is having a birthday today.
I have had the pleasure of making her daughters birthday
cake and also her baby shower cake.
It is an honor to be making her birthday cake today.
And even better it is a surprize!  I hope she likes it.

I have chosen a chocolate almond cake.  I do know that it is her fav.
But I have also decided to fill it with raspberries.  I also wanted to
make it very special and what lady doesn't deserve a pot of flowers on her birthday.
Even better with chocolate and raspberries.

The flowers are made from gumpaste and the ribbon around the pot
simply sayes Happy Birthday.  Chocolate buttercream covers the cake
and crushed oreo's make the dirt.  Buttercream icing dyed green simulates grass.
Don't you wish all pots of flowers taste this good?

Happy Birthday Liz and here's to many more.

New Cakes For Suwanee Lumber For 2012

Today is Colters Birthday.  He has requested my chocolate cake with a white buttercream frosting.
He loves old cars and motorcycles.  So I have chosen for him a motorcycle theme.
I made flames out of fondant and painted them to look like fire.
I crushed cookies to look like a dirt road and used white fondant for the lines in the
road.  A purchased motorcycle sits on top.

I hope he likes my design.  Happy Birthday Colter enjoy your cake.
