Celebrating Baby Pace

Today we are having a Baby Shower for a very special young lady.  It is all about
Pace Alexander Cole.  He is truly a gift from God for this wonderful couple.

Christina and Daniel are adopting a baby boy and we are all so excited for them!
Hurry up and get here Pace because we are all very excited to meet you.

How fun is that for a little boy?
So I have decided to make you a Vintage Toy Trunk complete with my vision of a
Vintage Airplane and you sleeping next to it.
Wish you could be here with us to celebrate but we will see you soon enough.

Congratulations Christina & Daniel can't wait to see you again with your son.

60 Is Music To My Years

I am so lucky that I get to do alot of special cakes for this sweet young lady.
This time I am creating one for her dear mother in law Patsy who is about to
turn the Big 60!
Regina told me she is a still a very girly girl who loves shopping and that for
most of her life she has played the piano.  So how do you make a cake with
that?  I told her no worries that I would make a special cake for her and put
all those things into it.
So this is my creation for Patsy.  A chocolate caramel cake with buttercream
frosting.  On the front & back side of the cake are fondant piano keys.
On the sides of the cake are little 60's.
Of course for the girly girl side of her I added a red dress, hat,shoes, pearls and
a Chanel purse.  Who doesn't want one of those?  A bit of sparkle and of course
her Big 60 just as a reminder of what day we are celebrating.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS

This little Princess was so much fun to make cakes for.  She really had a hard
time deciding her favorite.  So to make it easy she gets two cakes!  How fun....

Her first cake was Princess Ariel.  She spent this day with just her family.
The second cake was a big cake with all her favs.  This day was celebrated
with her family and all her friends.

Happy Birthday sweet girl.  So glad you enjoyed all your cakes.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL

Today my Great Nephew Michael turns a big #6.  He is very excited.
We are having an Avengers theme party this year at Pump It Up in Athens.
His friends and family have come to help him celebrate this special day.

Michael has 4 favorite characters.  Iron Man,Hulk,Captain America & Thor.
I decided to make individual cakes representing each character and then I
made some cupcakes too.

Each cake was a different flavor.  Cupcakes too.  Something for everyone.

Pool Party In A Cup

My great Nephew Ryan is having a Pool Party for his 6th birthday. I decided to make cupcakes in a cup that looked like a pool. Easy to eat with a spoon or fork so no messy little hands. Each guest had their favorite. Michael his cousin seemed to be very interested in the little people. Addison his other cousin liked the umbrellas. And of course the birthday boy Ryan also had a favorite. He liked the ones with the umbrellas too. Everyone had a great time. Mom & Dad provided hotdogs for the guest and after lunch and cupcakes the kids had fun in the pool.
