Addie Is An American Girl

I can't believe that I am posting the 6th birthday cake for my little
granddaughter.  Seems like only a few years ago she was born.

This year since she is getting so grown up she wanted an American
Girl Doll cake.  She and her friends are bringing their dolls to this
birthday party.  OMG did I say she was growing up??????

Everything is Pink Pink and more Pink.  And a cake that is Red Velvet,
Strawberry and Vanilla.  Only my granddaughter would ask for all her
favorites in one cake.  So thats what she got.

A Red Velvet top tier, Vanilla bottom tier and Strawberry Buttercream
in between every layer.  Strawberry frosting covered the cakes and of
course strawberry flavored fondant.

Strawberry Cupcakes and Strawberry Stars.  I think I have covered all
the bases.

This was my first Wedding Cake in a very long time.  I must say I was very excited.

Ashley is a special person in my life.  She is my hairdresser and a dear friend.
I was so pleased when she contacted me almost one year ago to ask me about doing
her cakes for this special day.

She and I talked about this cake for a very long time.  Her Grooms cake was to be a
Red Velvet per Daniels request.  A Georgia Fan so he wanted that famous G.

She wanted a White Cake with White Buttercream and to have the look of lace.
So after going through many designs this is the cake that we came up with.  It
turned out very nice and was completely eaten!  Even the Grooms cake which
most people never eat.

I have had the pleasure of making this Little Princess her birthday cakes every year.
This year will be her 4th.  I cannot believe how time has flown by.
I am sure her parents would agree with me.

This year she has requested a Cookie Cake.  With a Princess Rapunzel touch added.
Each one of her party guest will be taking home a Cookie Pop as a party favor.

This Little Pumpkin Is One

I remember the day this little Angel was born.  I simply cannot believe she is already
celebrating her first birthday.  A fall birthday is so nice.  Beautiful weather and lots of
pretty colors and party themes to choose from.

Celebrating Baby Pace

Today we are having a Baby Shower for a very special young lady.  It is all about
Pace Alexander Cole.  He is truly a gift from God for this wonderful couple.

Christina and Daniel are adopting a baby boy and we are all so excited for them!
