Pool Party In A Cup

My great Nephew Ryan is having a Pool Party for his 6th birthday. I decided to make cupcakes in a cup that looked like a pool. Easy to eat with a spoon or fork so no messy little hands. Each guest had their favorite. Michael his cousin seemed to be very interested in the little people. Addison his other cousin liked the umbrellas. And of course the birthday boy Ryan also had a favorite. He liked the ones with the umbrellas too. Everyone had a great time. Mom & Dad provided hotdogs for the guest and after lunch and cupcakes the kids had fun in the pool.

HOUSE DIVIDED

Today brothers Cole and Nash are celebrating their birthdays together.
They both wanted to have their favorite teams on a cake.  So their mom
suggested a divided house for the cake.
What a great idea.
Georgia and Georgia Tech.  What better teams to make a cake with.
Such great colors and decorations to make.  The one challenge is that
Nash has to eat gluten free.  So I made his cake for all his birthday guest
to enjoy and for him I made 1 dozen gluten free chocolate cupcakes.
Happy Birthday to both of you and may you one day not have a divided house.
Go Dawgs I mean go Yellow Jackets......

Kim's Special Day

Today a very dear friend of mine is getting married.
They are having a cookout with close friends and family
to celebrate this wonderful occasion with a short outdoor
ceremony to follow.

And of course today has to be hottest day on record!

I have chosen to make for Kim her favorite cake.  She
loves white cake with white buttercream frosting.

Her colors for today are white and navy blue.  It is also
a few days before July 4th so I thought it would be
cute to add some bling to the cupcakes with a red & blue
cupcake pick.

I baked a small cake for her to freeze for their One Year
Aniversary that is a mini replica of the Wedding cake.

Congratulations Kim & Darryl

Cookies & Milk For Jessica

My daughter Margo and her best friend Liz threw an adorable baby shower for
one if their good friends Jessica.
Everyone is so very excited that she is having a little girl.
What a cute idea these girls have come up with for her shower.

Cookies & Milk theme.  Just adorable.  Three flavors of milk all in old fashion
glass milk jugs.  With a menu of chocolate chip cookie cupcakes, cookie dough
dip with animal crackers, fruit and of course a strawberry cake for Jessica.
This seems to be her favorite cake that I make right now.  A new recipe I have
created.  Even my daughter said this is her new favorite.

For the party favors they had me make old fashion sugar cookies shaped
like a milk jug.  They turned out so cute.
With every milk jug was a chocolate chip cookie all tied up with a pink
ribbon and a tag reading "Thank You For Making My Shower So Sweet"

These girls did an amazing job!!!!!!
Congratulations to Jessica, Chris and Landon.  Reagan will be here soon!

This welcome sign is making me very hungry

Look Whoooooo Is One

My precious little grandson Braxton Cole is celebrating his first big
birthday.  Today he is One!  So hard to believe that a year ago we
were just meeting him for the first time.

Today it is all about you little man.  I have created the perfect cake
for you.  Three of them to be exact!!!

With an owl theme all planned out you will be getting the biggest
Owl cake I can possibly build.  Complete with a Smash Cake to dig into.

This had to be my biggest cake challenge yet but was well worth it
for my little man.  Nothing but the best for him.  12 hrs later this is
my creation for you.  I figure you will either love it or be afraid of it.

I hope you love it.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAXTON COLE
